LATCHMOOR HOUSE

LATCHMOOR HOUSE

NEW FOREST

Square Footage: 8000 sqft

HIERON London has been commissioned to undertake the refurbishment and modernisation of Latchmoor House, a Grade II Listed hunters lodge nestled in the heart of the New Forest National Park. Our comprehensive services encompass architecture, interior design and construction, encompassing planning and listed building applications. Collaborating closely with the client from initial concept through to completion, we endeavour to introduce sensitive, meticulously crafted, and bespoke upgrades to both the original 1911 arts & crafts house and its 1930s extensions.

Establishing a cohesive partnership with planning and conservation officers was paramount in securing the requisite approvals. Our proposal not only focused on preserving the historical integrity of the property but also prioritising significant sustainability enhancements, ensuring its adaptation to the demands of the 21st century while minimising its carbon footprint for years to come. These enhancements encompass the installation of a photovoltaic array, integration of air source heat pumps, implementation of sustainable electrical and heating systems, incorporation of battery storage solutions, and improvements to the thermal fabric of the building.
